Crossover Rock from Hagen (english) |
| | Its all about having a good time… The band was founded out of a jolly mood in late 1999 by Stoni, Lotzi, Patrick and Womel, four guys who first met in the German army and, apart from Pat, didn't know zip about making music. We started playing our first gigs at army partys, and our cover versions of famous rock and punkrock songs were so bad they weren't even recognised by some… small wonder as we had been barely able to play our instruments back then! Summer of 2000 saw the addition of Otto as the band's second guitar player. For some years we made do without a bass player. Later on, Ottos son Janni took this part, followed by Enne (then as now lead singer of "Pigs can fly"). |
| | | In 2003 we began writing our own songs and played all kinds of friends' partys. In 2004 we got the chance to support Sir Hannes Smith and his band Honigdieb. Around this time our first five track demo "Don't lie" was born. Sir Hannes time and again took us on as openers for his concerts. At the beginning of 2007 Frank took over the bass. For us, the most important thing has always been playing music for fun and being friends; this has always been more important than technical brilliance (which is something that time and tide bring along anyway). We consider the band a great hobby and are happy about every chance to perform we get. So what style of music do we play? Well, there's no clear answer to that. Our individual tastes of music differ slightly, so the combination is some nice combination of rock, punk rock and metal. Anything as long as it rocks!!! . The songs are recorded in the practice room and mixed and mastered by Dennis Koehne of Woohouse Studio, Hagen fame. The CD was officially presented at the live gig on December 6, 2008. (Thanx a lot for the translation to Mr. Heretik!) deutsche Version
